Olivia Lorenz, BS, CCRP is an instructor in the Foundations of Clinical Research program at PCC. She teaches sections on study protocols, data definitions and collection planning.
Olivia has been working within oncology for the past 8+ years. She has worked in many areas of oncology including pathology/clinical laboratory, pre-clinical and clinical research. She has supported phase I-III industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated pharmaceutical trials across multiple indications including melanoma, gynecology, genitourinary, and Phase I multi-indication.
Her experience includes various roles in which she's been responsible for the coordination of biospecimen collection and research data management, including the collection of source documents, review and abstraction of data for the completion of case report forms, query resolution, adverse event reporting and protocol deviation reporting. She acts as a liaison for physician investigators, industry sponsors, monitors, contract research organizations and other research staff for the management of patients participating in clinical trials.
She is currently working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Providence Cancer Institute in Portland, OR and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) through the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
