Sam F. Taylor, IV, A.S.I.D. is a guest instructor in Restaurant Business Builders in the session "Designing Your Restaurant and Kitchen," in which he will be sharing his expertise of over 35 years in designing and planning spaces in the hospitality industry.
In 1966, Sam formed is own company, Associated Design Consultants, Inc. an interior design firm doing commercial and residential design. The firm received numerous design awards and had projects published in national magazines and specialty books. Some of his national clients include Hometown Buffets, Old Country Buffets, and Sodexo-Marriott. Locally, in Oregon, he designed the remodel and expansion of historically significant Huber's Cafe.
Sam has been a guest lecturer for various regional design conferences and acted as moderator for national design workshops.
Several television appearances include a PBS program discussing in detail "How to select a competent interior designer and use his/her service to the best advantage" as well as a TV news interview regarding the psychology of color as it affects the working environment.
Sam is a past President of American Society of Interior Designers, Oregon Chapter and has served in several National Offices for A.S.I.D.
