Meet Your Instructor: Brad Fortier

Brad Fortier.jpgBrad Fortier teaches in VOICES (Visioning Organizations: Inclusive Communities & Equitable Spaces) in the module on Familial Status. 

Brad Fortier is an anthropologist, trainer, and entertainer. He has authored two books on the anthropology of improv theater. He has also performed, taught, and spoken about improv across the US, Canada, and Europe. Brad was an integral part of growing Portland's Brody Theater, and he also produces Portland Center Stage Improv All-Stars.

As an anthropologist, he has applied improv and interactive theater to creating community for refugees in south Texas and Berlin Germany, and educating about social justice issues at PCC through the Illumination Project. He currently works for the Office of Equity & Inclusion for the Oregon Health Authority.
